ReNote and how to do reused paper.
馃尡 Renote
Hello everyone! our names are Cristian, Sergio and Diana, and we want to tell you about our project. It is a science and environment project. The idea is very simple: we made new paper using old paper. This process is called recycling. It helps to reduce trash and protect the planet.
In this blog, we will explain the materials we used, the steps we followed, what we learned, and why recycling is important. we hope you like it!
馃搫 What Is the Project About?
The project is about making recycled paper. We use a lot of paper every day: notebooks, newspapers, school work, books, flyers, and more. Sometimes we throw the paper in the trash. But we can use it again to make new paper.
This is better for the environment because we don’t need to cut more trees. Paper can have a second life, and we can save natural resources.
馃О Materials I Used
To do this project, We didn’t need expensive things. Most materials were at home. Here our my list:
-
Old paper (from notebooks or newspapers)
-
Water
-
A blender (to mix the paper and water)
-
A tray or container
-
A screen or mesh (to filter the pulp)
-
A towel or sponge
馃И Step-by-Step Process
Here are the steps we followed:
1. Tear the Paper
we started by tearing the old paper into small pieces. The smaller, the better. we put them in a bowl.
2. Soak in Water
Then we added warm water to the paper. I waited for a few hours, so the paper got soft.
3. Blend the Paper
Next, we put the wet paper in a blender with more water. we blended it until we had a thick pulp. It looked like gray mush.
4. Pour the Pulp
We poured the pulp into a tray with water. Then we used a screen to lift the pulp from the tray. The screen helps to make the paper flat.
5. Remove the Water
we used a sponge to press on the pulp and take out the water. This step is important to make the paper dry faster.
6. Let It Dry
I put the screen with the paper in a dry place. After one day, the paper was dry. I removed it from the screen carefully.
Now we had new recycled paper!
馃實 Why Is Recycling Important?
Recycling is important for many reasons:
-
It helps reduce waste
-
It saves trees and nature
-
It uses less energy
-
It teaches us to reuse things
-
It is good for the Earth and future generations
When we recycle paper, we don’t need to make new paper from trees. This helps the environment and animals too. Every small action can help make a big change.
馃 What We Learned
I learned many things from this project:
-
I learned how paper is made
-
I saw how we can reuse old materials
-
I understood the value of taking care of nature
-
I had fun doing something creative and useful
Also, we learned that homemade paper can be used again. You can write on it, draw, or use it for crafts.
馃槉 My Opinion and Feelings
I think this project was amazing. It was easy, interesting, and helpful. I liked getting my hands dirty and seeing the results. It made me feel proud because I created something with my own hands.
I want to try this again with colored paper, flowers, or seeds to make it more beautiful. I also want to share this idea with my family and friends.
馃柤️ Final Words
This was my recycled paper project. I hope you liked it. I think everyone can try it at home. It is a good way to help the planet and learn something new.
Thank you for reading!
